1000 Kilometres Nürburgring 2024.

Some Impressions from the 6,5 hours long Race.

It was with a heavy Heart that all the regulars of the young and oldtimer World came to our beloved Nordschleife last Weekend. We just had received the News that Karin Kölzer, the Mastermind behind the last 30 Years of Youngtimer Trophy Succes had passed.

She had the unique capability to be hard and straight to ensure everything was going in the right direction, while being warm and going above and beyong to cater to everyones ideas and wishes.. all this while keeping the spirit of a family grassroots motorsport community alive.

Karin, i had the pleasure to be working for and with you for so many years, you leave a big big hole in our midst and in our Hearts.


The racing was blessed with an incredible 22°C + and not a cloud in the Sky.. and also no fog in the morning. Angels, Spirits, Heaven watching over us ?

In the absense of the 635 of Schumann Motorsport the front was all some sort of Porsche.. big Monster RSR's followed by the super reliable 964's..After the damn annoying Oil Crash in the Bergwerk of the Leading Group the E36's were filling up the Top 10..

the Kümmerling liveried Grieseman E-Fuel Car luckily made it to the Box and after a furious drive in the next 6 hours almost reached the Podium places again. You gotta love it.
